I promised...

So I said and so it shall be done. Here are some pics of the kids playing this weekend..and a few other randoms that I will explain along the way.

My cousin and I are about 2 years about, if not almost 3 and we both have kids now, husbands and lives. We haven't seen eachother in FOREVER so we finally caught up and hung out at the house. Her daughter (Katie) is 1, actually her and Rian's birthday are the SAME day so they are exactly a year apart. Her son (Matt) is 2 and his b-day is in June. I thought Rian was tall until I caught a hold of this guy! He is about an inch or two taller than Rian. Crazy!

They got along great and even shared cars. Gasp! We did the usual (BBQ, Talk, Reminisce) but instead of bore you with all those deets, here are some pics!

Our handsome boys being cheeseballs...literally...they would NOT stop saying CHEESE!

I couldn't resist this adorable pic of our boys playing with their cars. True testament to how well they shared!

Katie also had her cute moments...love this little one!

And because I can't resist here are some pics of them making me crack up cause not only did the boys love to play cars they also discovered they could fit inside the toy bins and also discovered that if they lean back they fell over. They had a blast. Not such great pics but you can see how thoroughly excited they are! oh boy!

Of course it wouldn't be me if I didn't TRY to take a group pic of all the kids, so here it is, me TRYING to get them all to look and be normal. Yeah it didn't go ENTIRELY well. LOL.

Now in other news, I am not sure that I told anyone on here, but Carina is starting to learn how to play the Clarinet. Yes what was I thinking. UGH. I will have you know that I am down for my kids to LEARN and TRY anything, especially when it comes to anything musical. SO when she asked, of course I cringed and now friends are telling me its close to hearing Geese squawk! Goodness, so much to my demise she takes her intstrument in today to learn how to put it together and learn a couple things. I asked her to wait until her teacher could show her because guess what, this Clarinet costs A LOT of money so I was not about to have something happen to it already!

And of course Rian saw this as yet another opportunity to take his cars on a new adventure!

Then I was messing around with my camera outside and although I suck at Photoshop I figured I would take a stab at taking some pics and editing them to make them look better. NOT that maybe you can tell the diff in the pics but here they are...not only do we have a sweet view, but we also have a sweet camera!
