Double Birthday!

Today we celebrated two birthdays at the same time and it was nice and low key. We hung at my father in law's house and bbq'd carne asada and ate yummy yummy cake. It was actually our nephews birthday last week but since we all work on weekdays we decided to celebrate today. Turns out it was also my father in laws actual birthday today so we got to celebrate that as well. Of course Austin is excited to get older (almost to the double digits...woot!) but my father in law insists he is still 'about' 45. Hmm. Keep dreaming. 

Austin was happy with just presents and a cake but for the father in law we pitched in with RC's brother and got him a bbq and the greatest part of the whole thing was watching the husband and his brother taken an hour to put it together. Turns out I was also at a free comedy show ;) 

At the end of the day there were many pictures taken, many laughs, lots of catching up and thankfully many full bellies...because we all know the only reason to go to a birthday party is to get food that you don't have to clean up later :)
