Awesome Gifts...

In my many years of life, friends have come and gone and some were happy and some were sad. I guess it all depends on perspective. Well. I have been super blessed with the really great friends sticking around for a long time. Things may change, jobs, living situations (and locations) and we may not even see eachother as often as we once did. However, that doesn't stop my friends from being absolutely awesome. I took a little hiatus from this thing but I do feel that my friends deserve a quick shout out and well...not just because they rock but because even in their crazy lives they have found time to think of me and my family and give us special gifts...

How you even have the time to think of another family with your super full schedule is beyond me but I am so happy you did! Thankyou thank you thankyou and NOW lets plan our mommy night!

Over the years it seems our job had only brought us closer and I am glad to see that even though my job has changed we are still such great friends! So glad that we started our friendship in AZ and it has followed us all the way to Sunny CA! Now if only I could get you to move closer :) Thank you so much for this amazing gift. You are truly talented girl!! I will treasure it for always...

Mommy Weekend...

Okay so this is a little past due but a few weeks ago me and my pseudo sister in law went on a girls weekend to Tahoe. I have never really done a true girls weekend, with no hubbies, no kids and just us girls in a LONG time so it was well overdue. We had a blast! It was just a one night trip but in that time we got closer, we chatted a bunch and we not only gambled...but won! Okay, so mostly Angela won and I lost but hey, it was the fact that we had a blast. We had some drinks, got in some good dance time and honestly, just got to be women for a bit. Not wives or girlfriends or moms or anything that required someone else needing our time...but us. It was soo fun. I honestly couldn't have needed it at a better time.

We didn't take many pics but here are some, and yes...we had some drinks..don't judge...just be jealous!!!

OH and the best part. I got to see my sissy and nephew. Only for a brief dinner but hey, I will take what I can get!!!

Family Pics...

So not to long ago when Dusty was down we also took some family pics. I do believe I gave you guys a sneak peek during one of my prior posts. Well about a week ago Kristina the photographer gave me the CD and I got to see all of them. WELL I am also going to bombard you guys with all of them as well. But mostly because I need to order prints and I need my sissy in law to see them all so the best way is to get them uploaded because we all know that by the time I send her the CD the kids will all be graduating high school. Seriously. We know I lag.
