Until. Dad came to the rescue.
He had heard our friend Susie was going to be surprising her little lady with some tickets so RC went ahead and pulled out his 'most awesome dad ever' card...also known as his Visa, and bought Neya and me a ticket to go. Now. At the time I am not sure who was more excited, more or her. I mean, hello! Boyfriend had just come out and was all the rage!!
In all seriousness. She was stoked.
So we finally went and we drove up with Susie, her daughter and their friends. We stopped and took some photos with "the biebs" at Susies house and then ate dinner at PF Changs (where my lovely daughter ate a prepacked ham sammy and bbq chips...yeah don't ask). Once we got there she was stoked to show off her sign and then...dun dun dun...they made her leave it. So we hid it behind a bush and scrambled to get it back after the concert.
She had a blast and any mother or father or grandparent or whatever that gets to take there kid to something they have been waiting for will be able to tell you...the look on their faces is PRICELESS! Nothing beats it. They have literally gone to the moon and back and I am glad I was there on the trip. She talked about it for a while but I am also just glad that we were able to spend some bonding time just her and I. Not to often that the middle child gets all the mommies attention.
Love you Neya and soo soo happy that we got to share this moment together!
